These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service. Please read them carefully before using Crow AI.

Who we are

Crow AI is operated by an individual based in New Delhi, India. The Service is an AI-powered chat platform that lets you converse with AI characters and create custom personas.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using Crow AI, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

The Service

Crow AI provides AI character chat, persona creation, conversation memory, and related features. We offer free and paid (Pro) subscription plans with different usage limits and capabilities.

AI responses are generated automatically and may vary in quality, accuracy, and appropriateness.
Features, models, and usage limits may change at any time without prior notice.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service.
Guest users may access limited functionality without an account; additional features require sign-in.

Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account using an email magic link or Discord sign-in. You are responsible for:

Providing accurate account information.
Maintaining the security of your email account and any devices used to access the Service.
All activity that occurs under your account.
Notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms.

Subscriptions and payments

Paid subscriptions are processed through Polar, our third-party payment provider. When you subscribe:

Payment card and billing details are collected and processed by Polar and its payment partners — not by Crow AI.
Subscription fees are charged on a recurring basis until you cancel through the customer portal or as otherwise provided.
Prices and plan features are subject to change; we will provide notice where required.
Refunds are handled in accordance with Polar's policies and applicable law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Violate any applicable law or regulation.
Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person or entity.
Generate, upload, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or other technical restrictions.
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service without our permission.
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

We may investigate and take appropriate action against violations, including removing content, suspending accounts, and reporting to law enforcement where required.

User content

You retain ownership of content you create, upload, or submit through the Service ("User Content"), including chat messages, characters, personas, and avatars.

By submitting User Content, you grant Crow AI a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, and display your User Content solely as necessary to operate and provide the Service, including sending content to third-party AI providers to generate responses.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit your User Content and that it does not violate these Terms or any third-party rights.

AI-generated content and disclaimers

Crow AI uses artificial intelligence to generate character responses. You acknowledge and agree that:

AI outputs are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, offensive, or otherwise unsuitable.
AI responses are for entertainment and general purposes only. They are not professional, medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other expert advice.
Crow AI does not endorse, verify, or guarantee any AI-generated or user-generated content.
You are solely responsible for your inputs to the Service and for any actions you take based on AI-generated outputs.
You use the Service and all AI-generated content at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Crow AI and its operator disclaim all liability arising from or related to user-generated content, AI-generated content, and any reliance on such content.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, branding, software, and underlying technology (excluding User Content), is owned by Crow AI and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code, except as permitted by law.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at noreply@crowai.de.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms or if continued provision of the Service is impractical or unlawful.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any AI-generated content will be accurate or appropriate for your purposes.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Crow AI and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from:

Your use of or inability to use the Service.
Any user-generated or AI-generated content.
Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.
Any third-party conduct or content on the Service.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100), except where such limitation is prohibited by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Crow AI and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or any third-party rights.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

For material changes, we may also notify you by email or through a notice on the Service where appropriate.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
